Welcome to Sober Bowl II. This creative and wanted antidote allows recovering addicts and alcoholics to enjoy the big game without the temptations or turn-offs inherent with one of the biggest drinking days on the social calendar.
Every year in February, people all over the United States gather with friends and family to watch the Super Bowl. Beyond the game, there’s usually food and, more often than not, alcohol.
SoberBowl is presented by the Houston Recovery Initiative and The John Lucas Foundation as “a high-profile display of the recovery lifestyle,” according to a statement.

The first-of-its-kind event, dubbed SoberBowl SuperFest, happens on game day as “a fresh alternative event to the usual parties held in conjunction with the Super Bowl” at White Oak Music Hall.
